They not only help us humans but also everything around us. From the polar bears in the Arctic to the mountains you go trekking with your friends.But what is a satellite? A satellite is an object that orbits (circles) a larger object. But there are two types of satellites, man made like the International Space Station which orbits the earth. And natural like the Moon which also orbits the earth and is one of the reasons life on earth thrives. So as you can see, satellites are very important.
